Join Dr Sami Al Arian in conversation with Moazzam Begg and Dr Asim Qureshi for a unique CAGE fundraising event in support of justice.

This event is is partnership with the Coalition for Civil Freedoms (CCF), which was founded by Dr Al-Arian while he was in prison.

We will explore how this acclaimed advocate:

  • Survived a US supermax prison.
  • Set up an organisation to defend prisoners while being detained himself.
  • Kept the Palestinian cause alive.
  • Fought a long campaign to end the use of secret evidence.
  • How he now leads a pioneering leadership building institution, and
  • How he continued to inspire others and work for justice, in freedom and in prison.
