Surviving China: The Uighurs’ fight for Islam (London)
April 5, 2019 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
CAGE together with 5 Pillars are pleased to announce a three city tour highlighting the oppression faced by the Uighur – from Guantanamo to Xinjiang.
There will be two international speakers, one of whom is a survivor from Guantanamo Bay. We will also hear an eye-witness account from a survivor, detailing conditions inside the incarceration camps, where the state is attempting to forcibly change the Muslim identity of the Uighur.
