Key facts:
- Mohammad Baqer Saad Dawood Al-Saadi, an alleged senior commander of Kata'ib Hezbollah Al-Iraq, has been kidnapped from an undisclosed location and rendered to New York to face terrorism charges
- The US has confirmed he was "transferred into US custody overseas" before being transported to the United States - the definition of extraordinary rendition
- He was presented before a Manhattan federal court on 15 May 2026
- No information has been provided about where he was held, for how long, or under what conditions prior to his appearance in court
Mohammad Al-Saadi was kidnapped from an undisclosed location, held incommunicado, and extraordinarily renditioned across continents outside any legal framework. That he now stands before a court as though due process was observed throughout does not make it so.
The US has made clear its disdain for international law, national sovereignty, and basic legal norms. There are no legal constraints - brutality and savagery are the values that guide the US as it continues to kill, maim and murder at will - aided and abetted by its western allies and apartheid Zionist Israel. These states are the ultimate terrorists and war criminals - but the world remains silent and complicit as the industrial military complex devours freedoms and basic rights across the globe for profit - and where any resistance is a crime.
