Guantanamo is an infamous military prison and much more. Connecting Cuba, the Middle East, and the global military industrial complex, it is a set of experiences that is poised to shape our engagements with the fear, politics and justice for generations to come. These experiences can help us to understand Guantanamo, US-Cuba relations, migrant and refugee rights, the rule of law, debates about torture, domestic and international conflicts, and the expansion of US empire.
